Parkerās Breakdown: Work/life/fitness balance
Balancing all three of these items can be a job in itself.
Making time to cook, making time for the gym, working a full on job on top of all of that, and then somehow trying to find some time for friends and family.
It is a lot, but here are some of the main ways that I balance all of these and donāt feel overwhelmed. šš
Planning out your days - This is easily the biggest and most useful one. I know it sounds so simple just to plan out your day the night before, but it is a game changer when it comes to efficiency and fitting in everything. Planning out my day the night before helps me to always know what the next task is and discourages me from scrolling on my phone or wasting time because I know the next task to complete. It also just helps me from an organization standpoint and allows me to make time for everything in my day.
Prioritize the big ones - People tend to make time for the things they donāt really care about. When we plan out our days, the first items we need to put in our day needs to be the most important. So for example, my priorities right now are work, friends and family, and working out. So I put these items down first on my agenda and then build around them with the other tasks I have to get done.
Dedicate certain days for certain task - Monday through Friday are days where I am heavily focused on work and working out. Saturday are days that I put a heavy emphasis on time for friends. Sundayās are days that I focus on nutrition, so I meal prep for the week this day, and also rest. How should you structure your week to allow time for everything?
Utilize your lunch break - I get it, most of us want to use this time to just relax and eat some food. But if we use this time correctly we can get so far ahead. We can use this time to do extra work that will allow us to have enough time to work out later, or we could use this time to get our steps in, or we could use this time to call our loved ones. Donāt let this hour of your day go to waste with just eating and scrolling.
Get it done in the morning - This is a huge one. It is hard at first to get up early and get that workout in or do that extra work. But once you get in the flow of doing this, you become addicted to it and it sets up the rest of your day for success!
These are the tips I use. Hope this helps!
